A group of Howitzers can easily take out a group of Jaeger Infantry. Not only does it negate the Stealth Ability of the Jaeger Infantry, but it also has an attack and defense bonus against it.
The Howitzer is extremely powerful against the Jaeger Infantry. The Howitzer is very effective at killing Jaeger Infantry and the Ranger as it negates the Stealth ability and it does more damage the closer it gets to the target. It no longer focuses on tanky defense but instead attack power. The Howitzer is now effectively a cross between a Colonial Age heavy unit and Industrial Age Artillery unit.
